From "Cloth Comfort" to "Fluffy Vagina Blankets" - we reckon we've seen all the headlines - here are some of our favourite features about reusable menstrual products (sometimes called RMPs or RUMPs) and cloth sanitary pads (CSP).
Over the years we've worked with Juno Magazine several times on features, product reviews and articles, but our favourite is probably the Cloth Comfort article that first appeared in the Spring 2015 issue, a version of which is now available to read online here:
We're also to be found in the Juno Winter 2015 issue in the Positive Puberty article, and Juno Autumn 2016 issue in the Menstrual Cup feature.
Another feature that's gained a lot of attention is the Telegraph article by Cathy Bussey which uses the headline "Fluffy Vagina Blankets: How reusable sanitary pads became a period phenomenon". It certainly prompted some heated discussion on social media, and the comments on the article itself were, perhaps unsurprisingly, quite varied. Although I've never been compared to an international conglomerate before! You can read the feature here:
Marie Claire ran a feature on reusable sanitary pads in September 2015, with the author taking a keen liking to one of our Eco Rainbow prints:
Another feature the same month appeared in She Knows, with a detailed and thoughtful look at how the pads work and the reasons that women choose to use them, we were invited to help with this feature:
The year closed with us featured in Metro UK, under the enticing headline "I used reusable sanitary towels and I liked it (and you should too)". We helped journalist Siam Goorwich through the process of selecting suitable pads to try, and she responded with this super feature a few weeks later:
